You were a preppy-looking guy with gelled hair and a blue button downshirt. My friends and I saw you lay down on the park bench with your knapsack. I came to ask if you were okay, in French and then in English.

You laughed and said you were fine, you told me story about being kicked out of a hostel because your friends tried to fit too many people in a room. We talked for a bit longer and eventually my girl friends walked over as well. I would have offered you the option to sleep on our hotel floor, but you soon fell asleep even though you were still sitting up and was talking to us.

I was a short Indian girl with long black hair and lots of bracelets. I hope you slept well on that park bench, and if you have more funny travel stores to share, I’d like to listen.
